Workdoc dynamic value automatic update?

Hi - I’m new to Monday.com and I’m trying to build out a workdoc that is automatically synced with a board. Right now I have linked everything through dynamic values, but in order for the dynamic values to update I have to refresh the page. Is this an error on my end or is that just how dynamic values work and there isn’t any automatic updates like with the regular boards? Any assistance would be great - I’d just like these docs to remain up to date without having to reload the page
