Use Case: I need to automatically populate Timeline columns from Start Date and End Date columns to use the Workload view effectively for projects spanning more than 1 day.
Current Limitation: Automations don't support setting timeline column values and the Workload view only works with Timeline fields not traditional date fields.
Business Impact: This requires manual data entry for every item, which is time-consuming for boards with hundreds of training sessions
We are using a third-party tool for scheduling and would love to replace it with the Workload view, but there are too many limitations to make that feasible at this time. Reach out if you want to learn more about our use case.
