Problem: Currently, there's no way to share a direct link to a specific group on a monday.com board. When sharing board URLs with team members, they always open at the top of the board or the last viewed position, requiring manual scrolling to find the relevant group.
Requested Feature: Add URL parameter support to link directly to specific groups on a board, such as: https://[workspace].monday.com/boards/[BOARD_ID]?group=[GROUP_ID]
When clicked, this link would open the board and automatically scroll to/highlight the specified group.
Use Cases:
Sharing specific sections of compliance, project, or task boards with stakeholders
Creating documentation that references specific board sections
Onboarding new team members to relevant board areas
Linking from external tools (Slack, emails, wikis) directly to the relevant board section
Current Workarounds (and their limitations):
Creating filtered views for each group (requires creating and maintaining multiple views)
Linking to specific items within a group (only highlights one item, not the whole group)
Manual navigation instructions (inefficient and error-prone)
Impact: This would significantly improve navigation efficiency and make board sharing more precise and user-friendly, especially for large boards with many groups.
