Do not expand all groups and folders when dragigng an item within a workspace

Expanding all groups and folders when I am trying to drag/drop an item creates a kludgy experience and a lot of times cause the item I am dragging to go into the wrong spot or the action fails and the new item goes back to it's original position.
Would me way better if there was an option to create new boards/projects in a specific location or an option on the three-dot menu to move something to the spot you want it without having to drag and drop.
