Enterprise Admin Control to Disable Marketplace App Requests

Feature Description:
I am requesting a new tenant-level security configuration that allows Account Admins to completely disable the "Request to add" button in the Marketplace for all non-admin users.

Currently, while only admins can install apps, any user can still initiate a "Request to add" via the marketplace puzzle icon. We need the ability to hide the app marketplace entirely or disable the request functionality for the entire tenant.

Business Case & Context:
Our organization has strict governance protocols for adopting third-party software. Our standard approval process involves:

  1. InfoSec Review: Evaluating data privacy, security certifications, and data residency.

  2. Architect Review: Ensuring the app integrates properly with our existing tech stack and does not duplicate functionality.

  3. Procurement/Legal Review: Negotiating commercial terms and assessing vendor risk.

The current functionality allows users to bypass this process by requesting apps directly through Monday.com. This creates:

  • Shadow IT Risks: Users requesting tools that haven't been vetted for security.

  • Administrative Overhead: Admins receive numerous app requests, creating unnecessary noise, and users become frustrated when requests are denied due to compliance reasons.

Ideal Workflow:
We require a toggle in the Administration > Security section to "Disable Marketplace Request Button." When activated, non-admins cannot request apps, ensuring all new functionality is vetted through our formal process.

Thank you for considering this enhancement for Enterprise governance.
