One thing that would make monday.com a lot easier to navigate is the ability to assign colors to boards themselves, similar to how folders can be color-coded today.
Right now, when you have a lot of boards, everything kind of blends together in the sidebar. Being able to add a color to a board would make it much quicker to spot what youâre looking for.
For example:
Highlight high-priority boards so they stand out right away
Use consistent colors for related boards (by team, project type, etc.)
Just generally make things feel more organized at a glance
This feels like a small change, but it would go a long way for teams managing a lot of boards. Even something simple like a colored dot, icon, or background accent would help a ton without cluttering the UI.
