I would like to suggest an enhancement for the cross-board automation feature. Currently, the available automation related to cross-board actions mainly supports workflows such as:
"When Status changes to X, create an item in the target board and connect the target board with the main board."
However, it would be extremely helpful if Monday.com could introduce additional automation templates that allow users to update existing connected items across boards without creating a new item.
For example,
"When Status changes to X in the Main Board, change Status to Y in the connected item within the Target Board."
This enhancement would greatly improve workflow efficiency for teams managing linked items across multiple boards.
I hope you can consider expanding the cross-board automation capabilities with more flexible templates like this. I believe it would provide significant value and convenience to many users on the platform.
