Tax amount formatting in CRM quotes and invoices — brackets displaying as negative
When tax is displayed on Monday Quotes, it currently appears as (for example) "10% ($430.00)"
In Australia and elsewhere, brackets around a number mean a negative or deducted amount. The tax is a charge being added to the total — not a deduction — so this is confusing and misleading to clients.
What we're looking for
Any of the following would resolve this:
Separate the tax % and the dollar amount into distinct cells — e.g. Cell 1: "GST 10%" / Cell 2: "$430.00"
Remove the brackets so it displays as "GST 10%: $430.00" or "10% = $430.00" or similar
Access to template customisation options that give us control over tax formatting
Any other solution that prevents the tax amount from appearing as a negative figure
Thanks in advance.
