Hi all- I am having a workflow issue in the CRM when sales people want to pre-plan their activity for the week.
Here’s the workflow:

Go to Account and create activity on the day and time you plan to visit

Repeat 30ish times or for however many customers you are planning to visit for the week

When you are traveling around to visit customers, go to the Account and log the notes from the meeting.
Here’s where we hit the issue. On the app, you cant edit an activity that has already been added to the timeline. So if they want to log notes, they have to create a whole new activity- meaning I have two records for every activity a sales person has done. So I have no way of seeing at a glance how many visits they have made. -
Potential solution- they log their notes in the item that automatically creates in the activity board through the automation instead of on the emails and activity timeline. The problem here is that the notes don’t copy back to the original item on the timeline. So I have a timeline full of no information.

Note: I know that you can edit the emails and activity timeline from the desktop version, this is specifically for the mobile app as they are driving around all day to visit customers.
Does anyone have a good workflow for this? I can’t have my sales team not pre-planning their weeks. And it seems that a CRM should have the ability to pre-plan tasks and then add notes later from the app.
