Allow different viewing & editing options in boards. Not just user to owner!

The jump from board user to board owner is steep! :flushed_face:
There are so many settings a board user can’t do, but that a board owner can. There needs to be more levels supplied. Most particularly in ‘private’ boards.

My suggestion.

  1. Viewer of board only
  2. Limited editing - Only see and or edit items assigned to you
  3. Full access item editor - Able to see and edit all items in board (however not able to structurally change the board)
  4. Board owner - Can do everything in board

I frequently find there are people in my team that need different view/edit options in the one board and the options are so limited! It’s a massive road block for us, as we have employees, contractors and clients all in our CRM. So one blanket rule doesn’t work when applied to all. More options are needed pretty please! :folded_hands:

Agreed. Please please please make this an option! We’re running into the same issues.

We had to make an entire department with 30+ people board owners because the department needs to see all the items and we want everyone else to only be able to see a ticket if they are in a people column.

Now we’ve got people accidentally screwing up the entire board because they think it’s just adjusting it for themselves. Now we’re having to chase down all the changes, but we know someone is going to adjust stuff again.

Please add additional permission levels. Not just Owner and Members.
