What are you trying to achieve

Aiming to automate the reporting process in Monday.com by setting up a system that automatically exports board or group data on a daily or weekly basis and sends it directly to designated emails.

This ensures that users receive consistent, up-to-date reports without manual effort, improves visibility into project progress, and maintains regular data backups for reference and accountability.

Hey @abby100a if you are open to marketplace apps, I suggest you try out Reporting. It allows sending board summarized data to an email On periodically basis.

@abby100a For automated reporting of board, group, or any subset of items, I suggest taking a look at the Analytics & Reports by Screenful. With it, you can create reports across multiple boards and schedule them to be sent via email or Slack.

If you’re still looking for a solution, we’ve set this up using Power Query and the monday.com APIs to pull data directly from the board. We then use a Power Automate flow to refresh the data monthly and export it to a OneDrive or SharePoint folder.
