Currently I’m using item_count to count my items under 1 board. But unfortunately it doesn’t count the item by each group. Is there any way that I can count items by group?

Monday.com does not support this. However, you can use a Dashboard to visualize item counts by group. You can add a “Chart” widget or similar to show a breakdown of items by group.
