Feedback on the "Text and Description" Widget for Dashboards

The “Text and Description” widget could be much more useful if the presentation was improved and it handled text better. (see screenshot below).

I’m looking to our dashboards to be a hub of commonly used information, such as process and procedures. The “Text and Description” widget is exactly what I’m looking for, but the presentation and text handling make it very difficult for it to be useful.

I realize it’s in Beta, but I would recommend:

  • More control over title and description text size independently of each other (if at all).
  • Description allows markdown, rich-text or basic HTML.
  • Description text handling needs improvement, such as don’t scale text down but instead allow it to break to multiple lines.
