In the Gantt chart widget settings allow for grouping by item’s. It only gives the option for group by board, group, status, etc. there is no option to group by the item level.
The projects I have in my board are at the item level with the tasks at the subitem level. For the Gantt chart I want to be able to group by the item with the subitems connected to the parent Item.

To clarify, item grouping is not supported in this context. In monday, grouping can only be configured based on the board’s columns, not directly by individual items. Because of this limitation, grouping items themselves is not possible.

Hey @Tyler1280, Ganttgo does exactly what you are describing! it displays your items as parent rows in the Gantt chart with their subitems nested underneath and the hierarchy you want is the default view. Check it out here: GanttGo
