How do I just highlight a cell if I have to change a date to show it's late?

I want a cell to change color when I have to change the date to show we didn’t meet our due date. The automations don’t seem to show anything useful.

You can use conditional coloring. To access it, click the “…” menu underneath the board header (not the one in the top right corner of the board header). Then select the conditions and color you want to use:

There doesn’t seem to be a condition for if I change the date within the cell, it changes colors to signify it’s late.
