Using the map view, is there any way to differentiate between items from one board vs items from another board?

Great question (and suggestion)! I am afraid it isn’t currently possible to colour code by board in the map widget. I really like this idea and will happily share it internally with our team - will provide updates if I get any further insights!
So why does it say this on Monday.com’s documentation? https://support.monday.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001263689-The-Map-View
It is saying that it will be based off the groups in one board - unfortunately it won’t carry over multiple boards

@Soroh I apologise for any confusion caused here! The colours are set according to the group in the board as opposed to the boards specifically.
