Item titles are visible in calendar day but gets cut off and only a few characters. This is making the calendar essential view ineffective. Please please allow more text to show, and adding the ability to show specific column values in this view would be huge for this view. Please please enhance.

Looks like that functionality is not there yet!
You can try Calendar Plus, which shows longer item names and parent item names in week view. You can also select column values to show on your items. We’re actively developing, so don’t hesitate to send us a request.
