Hey everyone! We are currently using the Marketing theme board for our team, and have a lot of subitems being used across multiple teams. We tried the subitem widget option, but they don’t work on Boards at this time.
So two requests:
Allow subitems to be seen on a calendar view.
Add a widget that can be used on boards and dashboards for the subitem workaround.
It seems odd that this feature is missing- we organise individual content outputs as subitems under a parent opportunity / campaign, with completion date column for subitems - but subitem dates aren’t visible on the calendar view. This feels like expected functionality.
Hi there! It seems that the feature has been added. You just have to make sure that if you are using filters, apply those filters at the subitem level too, and in the settings also select the Due Date at the subitem level
I have figured out why it wasn’t working for me. For some reason, there must be a “people” column for the items. So, if you deleted the “people” column for items, because your using subitems, you should try putting the people column back for the main items. In the screen shot, the “WO” board states that “there is no relevant column in this board”, but the QC Board doesn’t say that. If you add the people column it will change the way this looks, and then the subitems will work.
