Description

We need a feature to allow text wrapping on the task name, and that should be viewable by all subscribed members on the board.

What are you trying to achieve

In one of our boards, some task names are quite long. We follow a naming convention and don’t want to shorten them, as that would remove important details.

If we expand the column width to fit the full task name, it can take up more than half of the window, making it hard to view other columns.

If we narrow it, we can’t see the full name without hovering over each item — which can be time-consuming when reviewing multiple tasks.

I like current monday’s clean layout although long item names can be tricky sometimes.

I usually fix it by increasing the item height and using tags or labels for extra details instead.
