Timeline for multiple mirrored values

Hi,

I am trying to build a timeline from a set of mirrored columns. My setup is as follows

I have multiple “Calendar boards” each of them have a list of activities and their timelines
I have a parent board that has events with a timeline column. The Calendar board items all map to the events on the parent board. On the parent board, I have a mirror column showing the timelines for each activity

So
Calendar board 1 - Activity 1, Activity 2
Calendar board 2 - Activity 3, Activity 4, Activity 5

Parent Board → Event 1 (linked to Activity 1 and Activity 3), Event 2 (linked to Activity 2, Activity 4)
Each event has the Event timeline and a mirrored column with the activity timelines that are connected to the event

I want to create a view per event on the parent board showing when each activity from the connected boards is scheduled to happen. But when I create the timeline on a dashboard, I get just one line for the period spanning the activities together. I want to split this into the individual activities.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

I have the same issue, I’d like to have a calendar or Gantt view of the mirrored timelines as individuals events, not an aggregate. Did you have any luck solving this?

Hi David

I finally created a dashboard with all the lower boards with a Gantt chart widget with a filter set to the event(s) I need to see.
Not ideal but the best I could do
