What does "Include updates section in form" do

Newer Monday user here, I am having trouble understanding what the “Include updates section in form” actually does. I have turned it on and off and do not see a difference. What is a use case for this setting?

The form I am using is for a ticketing system for our team without Monday accounts

If you have it on, when they type information there it goes ‘into’ the item in the updates section.
