X & Y Axis Limited Selections in the Chart App

Hey all, new here.

I am trying to create a simple chart from the following columns “Section Count” which is just numbers and “Projected Month” which is just a date column.

For some reason, I have very limited selections on the y axis chart app.

If I chose on the X axis Projected Month then go to the Y axis hoping to select Section Count, I only have 4 options.

The Y axis selections never change and remain no matter what I try to do on the X axis.

Am i missing something here, I simply want a chart showing Section Count by Month.

Is the Y axis supposed to have multiple options (more than 4) at any given time?
