I would like to be able to say something to my team about a particular group and about a particular column (for example, how we’re using it). I can’t see how to do this. It seems that comments are for items only. Might this be an enhancement feature in the future?
You might want to take a look at column descriptions. You can add/change them in the … menu in the column header:
