Adding Files to Groups as a Whole Instead of Individual Tasks/ Items

This request has been brought up in 2022 and 2023:

Since it is now 2025, I would like to re-request Monday.com to add the ability to upload documents to groups as a whole instead of individual items/ tasks. We need our email templates to be able to access files and we want to have so AI stuff setup for files. However, it’s inefficient to have to add the file to every single item/ task in the group manually.

We also need that kind of functionality. We would like to be able to store files at these 4 levels :

  1. Task
  2. Board / Project
  3. Portfolio
  4. Workspace

That would make more sense than use workaround methods that doesn’t suit every cases.
