Have anyone created a Board of Directors pack - something similar to Board Pro?

Yes — great question. We haven’t yet seen a fully-ready “Board of Directors pack” template inside monday.com that mimics all the features of BoardPro (which is built specifically for board administration and board packs).

Here are my personal thoughts and suggestions if you’d like to build one:

What you’ll need to create in monday.com

Because its is more of a general work-platform rather than board-pack specialist, you’ll likely need to assemble a few elements:

  • A monday Board (or maybe a Template) set up for each board meeting agenda & supporting documents.

  • Columns for agenda item, document links, owner, status, meeting date.

  • Possibly an item (or group) for “Meeting” which has relations to the agenda items sub-items or documents.

  • Use monday file attachments and/or links to documents stored in your document repository (GoogleDrive/SharePoint).

  • Use automations or templates for “Board Pack ready” status when all docs are uploaded.

  • Use monday “Views” or “Dashboard” to create a “Board Pack” view: e.g., list all agenda items + document links, maybe export to PDF or provide a “read-only” link.

  • Set version control or same item to reflect when document changed (e.g., “Awaiting final doc”, “Ready”).

  • Use monday’s user permissions to ensure only board members have access.
