Can existing Monday items be linked to existing Jira issues?

The current integration between Monday and Jira only works if Monday items or Jira issue doesn’t exist. Then if you actualize/create a Monday item it will create a new Jira issue, and vice versa. After this link is created all changes will be actualized in the other application without problems.
But it’s impossible to link an existing Jira issue with an existing Monday item.

Could you create this integration? or update the existing integration to let this work?

I would very much like to have this option as well!
especially considering the fact that I’m trying to migrate my boards from the old integration to the new one, and all items are already created on both platforms.
