For some aspects of project management, having the ability to comment on data entry/status change helps adding clarifying details regarding a specific data entry or status change. Example; if a status was changed from “On Track” to “Off Track” it would be good to see comments regarding why the task/project went “off track”, and have it tied to that specific data entry/status change.
Hey @cia.hang.mychapter - a sometimes missed feature in monday is a similar ability to comment on status change. If you hover over a status column you will see it “peel back” and if you click on the top right corner you can leave a comment specific to the status change. This will then add is as an update to the item.
