Compare sales won to goal as widget in CRM

This is insane: in the widget to compare sales to goal, you can set it annually, but you cannot have it look at only one group (i.e. “Sales Won”), so the widget compares all your current deals, won or not, to the goal. That is insane: you can put anything you want in the deal pipeline, but what matters to compare to a goal is what you WON! How can I see my progress against the goal?
