Computer Inventory and Managment

I am trying to setup our inventory system in Monday, that allows me to check computers in and out to users tied in our employee directory. I also want to be able to run reports on inventory that is on the shelf.

Are all employees monday users? If not, then the first step is getting the employee directory imported into monday (as board items) so you have a list of users to associate checkouts to. You’d also need your inventory imported.

Do you need to track future reservations and past histories, or is a device to user association at the current moment sufficient?

Hi @lshahid, I suggest you check out Triggerly for Inventory management on monday.com. With Triggerly you can use QR code item tracking for checking in and out items and update inventory on the shelf. Let me know if this works for you.
