Create dependencies within the Gantt View

Currently, creating dependencies is a pretty laborious task as they can only be made through adding to a column and is only in one direction (dependent on). If I make a task that is blocking another one I have to go and find that task to add the dependency. Resulting in a lot of jumping around from task to task to build out a project.

One feature in ClickUp I am finding that was a HUGE quality of life improvement over monday is the ability to create dependencies while in the Gantt view by dragging and dropping the dependency between the two tasks. Along with specifying a task as either blocking or dependent on. Based on the few projects I built so far this feature alone saves me 90% of the time over how long it takes in monday. It is way more intuitive and allows for easy editing if things change or weren’t correct to begin with. And being more painful the larger a project gets.

I’d like to add that I think we should have the ability to change the dependency type (strict, flexible) from within the view. Actively managing the timeline requires me to switch between the two depending on what I need to have happen and going to the table, then column customization, is pretty clunky.
