I am requesting that we add the ability to send direct messages via slack as a feature for custom automations.
What are you trying to achieve
Right now, slack automations that result in a direct message are strictly tied to templates.
I am requesting that the featured ‘slack notify’ is opened up so that custom automations can result in a notification send directly to a user via Slack.
For example, at it’s current state, Monday.com will only allow a result of ‘notify slack user’ if you use their limited template. But you are able to create custom automations that will result in the ‘notify slack channel’.
I am simply requesting that we are given the option to use ‘notify slack user’ as a result in the custom automation creation.
