Hi,

Deleting an item from Monday, Does not delete the event in google calendar, and vice versa.
Any way to solve this issue?

Also, we have people creating events in Calendar, then deleting them if they got canceled.
This action does not delete the item in Monday.

Yes, unfortunately this is a known limitation where you cannot delete an item in the calendar by deleting it in monday (and vice versa).

Our apologies for the hassle here! We know this can definitely cause some confusion and frustration.

Hi @Lustig , I am with zzBots. With our Monday.com to Google Calendar 2-Way sync your data will stay in sync and up to date in realtime. The issue your having with items and events not deleting in the corresponding app is not an issue for zzBots. zzBots works amazing for creating, updating and deleting data.

Is this going to be fixed? I’m using the Outlook integration with the same issue. Also, when I have tried deleting the date, not the entire item, the event is moved to today’s date at the nearest 1/2 hour time (e.g. 3:32 when deleted moves the event to 4pm).

Hi @Lustig,

We recently launched the app Google Calendar Sync - monday.com App Marketplace, which allows you to configure item/event based deletion rules, so that when item is deleted from board, linked event will be deleted and vice versa. You can also choose to selectively delete your calendar events on status change. It should fit your use case perfectly.
