For the automation trigger “Every day, if has passed” I’d love the option to exclude weekends. My automations are creating items to say something is overdue, so on Monday morning we’re faced with triple the number of items, two thirds of which are redundant.

Sound like a great idea! Have you tried excluding weekends from your monday account in general?
Not 100% sure that this would work in your use case, but I think it is worth a try!
