Is there a way to export items with subitems so that all the rows are visible in excel, not just the items? When I do an export with subitems, I just get the names of the subitems grouped into a single column but without each row with data on each subitem.

If you select the option to include subitems in the export, they should appear below the parent item - as shown in the screenshot below:
Is this not the case for you?
I did also want to mention that our team are working on improving the layout of the export - primarily that second column - subitems - next to the item name. We have received feedback that it just become messy and unnecessary - feel free to share your feedback too!
Thank you! My error was running test exports with only the title of the subitem and no content in the rows. All working correctly now,

If you’re open to the apps, you can test Smart Spreadsheet for monday as it auto-imports subitems into a spreadsheet on a separate tab.
