The current method to update pricing includes filling out a form with the new pricing information. The last time I did this, it took 3 weeks for the pricing to be updated after submitting the form. The current process is slower than expected and it also feels like I’m inconveniencing the payment’s team every time I want to make a pricing update.
Optimizing an app’s pricing is very important for app developers. It’s difficult to get pricing right the first time. Making many adjustments is necessary to land on an optimal model that works for the most customers.
It would be wonderful if it was possible to update the pricing ourselves instead of submitting a request to have it done. This would allow me to try out many different pricing models in a shorter amount of time to more quickly find the optimal one.
I’m guessing this won’t get prioritized, but as a bonus, it would be amazing to be able to A/B test a variety of payment plans at once. For example, if I could test five different pricing models at the same time, it would help me to quickly find the optimal one.
By the way, I appreciate all the work monday is doing to improve the developer experience!
