Feature Request: Better Support for RTL Languages

Hi everyone,

First off thank you to the Monday team and community for building such a powerful collaboration tool. I’ve been using it actively, and it helps a lot with project management and workflows.

I wanted to raise a feature request / improvement idea: better support for right-to-left (RTL) languages, such as Urdu, Arabic, Persian.

Problem Statement

When I use Urdu (or mixed Urdu + English) in boards, updates, or text fields:

  • Text alignment often becomes messy or inconsistent

  • The direction (RTL vs LTR) sometimes flips unexpectedly

  • Elements like dropdowns, labels, or templates assume “left-to-right” behaviour

  • Mixed-language content (Urdu + English) gets awkward in the same cell or section

This is especially problematic for teams which are multilingual we often have to avoid writing native language content or do manual workarounds.

Thanks for sharing this, Henry! I completely agree—better RTL support would make a huge difference for multilingual teams. The text alignment issues and unexpected flips can really slow down workflow and force awkward workarounds.

It would be great if the Monday team could add more robust RTL handling, especially for mixed-language content. That way, teams can fully collaborate in their native languages without compromising usability.
