A lock row/signature function would make it possible to use Monday.com as a board work organization tool, where you actually have to lock rows with a certain content at a certain date.

A number of things have been released since this feature request chain started, but I am unaware of movement on this topic. As we start heading into the end of 2024, any update on this topic? It would be immensely helpful to be able to lock an Item (row).
I have need for it for the use case described in this chain, when an Item is complete, setting to allow no further changes.
I also have a use case where specific items need to be included standardly in a board. They should be able to be actioned for columns not locked, but the items should not be able to have the Item Name changed, or to be deleted. The former is not possible, the latter cannot be accomplished with the set of available permissions in conjunction with other board requirements, so it would be preferable to be able to control it outside of the permissions structure.

I voted for this feature and your proposal doesn’t help meet my needs unfortunately. I definitely need an item/row locking feature.

Is there any update on this? We’d really like to be able to lock items in a financial report once the payment has gone out, so that grantees can’t edit values after the fact. Is this on the roadmap yet?
