Fix the deselection of items when clicking into something on a board

I often have several items / leads selected to mass update or mass email and often accidentally click to expand the item since it is right next to the checkbox. It is so infuriating to have 20+ items checked and then have them disappear in a blink of an eye. Please make it so your checked items don’t disappear if you click into something on the page!
