Gantt unable to create a baseline for mirrored timelines in the Project/Portfolio solution. Proposed workaround to select ANY timeline as baseline
What are you trying to achieve
The actual timeline in the portfolio solution is a mirrored timeline from the respective Project. The system doesn’t allow me to create baseline snapshots on the Actual Timeline because it is mirrored. Additionally I can’t use the Planned Timeline as a baseline in the Gantt either. Ideally we would be able to create baselines for mirrored Timelines. But as a workaround I would be happy to use ANY timeline available as baseline not just restricted to snapshots created. Thanks for your assistance. Would appreciate an early reply as this is a very important feature before we roll out the whole portfolio solution to my organization with over 100 projects.
