Description
The new “Required Column” feature is super helpful for keeping data clean and consistent. That said, the popup that appears when this feature is enabled on a column(s) could use a couple of tweaks to make it easier to work with:
Column names get squashed. When a column name is long, you can’t read the full text in the popup. It would be great if those names wrapped to multiple lines so we can actually see what’s being asked for.
Missing info bubble. The column info (the little “i” tooltip that gives context or instructions) disappears in the popup. It’d be really helpful if that was still visible so users can see the details they need without guessing.
These small changes would make a big difference in usability, especially for teams that use descriptive field names or rely on tooltips for guidance.
What are you trying to achieve
To reduce incorrect entries in boards with required fields like “Business Value (1–10, for prioritization)” or “Effort (XS Less Than Two Weeks - XL More than 12 weeks )”, users can’t currently see the full name or instructions when prompted.
