Hello,
In our Gantt charts, we would like to select which item/subitem is to be shown in the Gantt chart for each individual item/subitem. Currently I can select in the settings of the Gantt chart whether I want to integrate the items or subitems, but I can’t get more detailed/customised. For example, we thought there might be an automation with a status column (aka Show in Gantt Chart? → “Yes” or “No”), which is then linked to the gantt chart and really only shows what is set to “Yes”. But have not really found anything in the automations. Is there a way to select this per item/subitem? Or could this be integrated? Because currently you can also select which groups you want to see in the Gantt chart in the settings and maybe you can also integrate something there so that you can select per item/subitem what is to be seen in the Gantt chart.
Thank you very much!
Hi @AlessandraB,
You can achieve this using the filter on the Gantt chart view. In this example I used a checkbox type field, but there are many column types that could work for this.
In the screenshot below, you can see how this column would look in the main table view.
Once this column is added and all of the items you want displayed are checked, you will create a Gantt View and go to filters. Don’t forget to include both subitems and items in your filter, example below.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.
