Yes please! We use the description column for a lot of updates at a more detailed glance and having the ability to make it left-aligned would be fantastic.

Yes, I also need it.
Because the comment bubble is directly tied to task name, and I may not want this visible to my clients, I have to get creative to hide it within documents (in Monday) for which I want to display boards. To do this, I use a formula to pull the task name into a separate column. Unfortunately, this formula then centers the returned value and thus looks bad.

Being restricted like this feels like we’re on dial-up waiting to connect, using floppy disks, with an AOL account, and a black and white printer. It’s 2025, please give us the choice for Left Alignment.

Any update on this? It’s maddening not being able to left align plain text in a column…
Super important for right to left languages and emails. The emails sent via the system aren’t readable for Hebrew and Arabic languages.

At this time, this feature isn’t on our long-term roadmap, as we’re currently focused on other high-impact priorities that are further along in development. That said, we know this comes highly requested, so we’ll continue to evaluate it as we plan ahead.

I know implementation is far more complicated that just adding “text-algin: left;” to a stylesheet. But it’s also a relativley minor feature request that it looks like people have been asking for for over 5 years. This is all folks are asking for:

Definitely shocked this has not been implemented. Manager just told me to left align it so that it’s easier to read so it brought me here. Really Monday.com this should be an easy fix unless we are under the wrong assumption. Please reconsider it.

Hello, I recently started using Monday.com and it was the first thing that caught my eye. The text non-alignment is not optimum. @Monday.com given the ask since 5 years could you please re-consider. Will be much appreciated.
