Hi everyone, Manu, from the monday CRM team here, I wanted to let you know that we just released another new feature for CRM users!
Introducing Sequences
You already know that at monday.com, we love helping you work faster. So it was only natural that we took on email sequences. Flows, drips, sequences – whatever you call it, it’s here!
Now you can build an outreach machine that boosts conversion.
Here’s how it works: create a sequence that includes automated emails, manual emails, and task reminders. Set the conditions for which leads or contacts enter the sequence, when they receive each step, and when they’re removed from the sequence.
Then hit save and you’ll start moving processes forward, quickly with minimal effort.
The result? More lead engagement and stronger customer relationships.
This feature is fully released to all users in the Pro plan and above. Learn more about it here.
Hate to be such a downer on this, but I can’t understand why you’d roll this out without the ability to embed images or use HTML in emails associated with sequences. Plain text is just not going to cut it for any customer facing marketing emails, and obviously that’s going to be a huge use case for sequences. Or it would be, if we could format those emails. This really diminishes the value of the sequences feature. A search of the forums shows that your users have been begging for formatted emails as part of automations (without having to go to third party tools) for years. Very disappointing.
I am also having problems with this feature that make it impossible for us to use for outbound sales and marketing sequences. Must Haves:
ability to edit sequences once they are in process to improve engagement.
limit sends to a specific per-day limit.
Small delay between each email send (currently emails are being sent all at once regardless of number of contacts in the sequence, a big no-no.)
Email signatures
Tracking stats such as opens and clicks by sequence and sequence step (I think I might be able to do this with automations, but have not figured this out yet)
Updating contacts with engagement stats (may also be doable with automations?)
Access to automations triggered by engagements (again, don’t see such automations)
HTML (I tried to insert and HTML block, but it just emails the raw HTML without formatting it; Note need to be able to include linked images, I imagine this would work if HTML was working).
