I believe that the answer is “you can’t do that via the API now”, but I’d like to be proven wrong.
If I’m right, I’d like to know when (if?) it’s going to be possible to get the name of a folder in which a board resides based on the folder_id that is available in response to a number of queries.

At this time, I’m afraid we don’t yet have a firm date as to when this feature will be added to our API.
However, I have added your feedback along, and moved this to the “Feature Feedback” section. I will let you know as soon as this has been released!
