i would like to get a weekly email of the open tasks i we have in the Deals.
the open tasks are sub-items of deals that are under certain status (not “Done” yet).
basically its enough to know that Deal “X” has open subitem.

Hey Chen,
A way to achieve this is by creating a filtered view of those tasks (/subitems) that are not done. You can pull the filtered view’s link and include it in the body of an automation notification - could something like this work for you?
