We want to prevent member users from moving items between groups.
What are you trying to achieve
We want to restrict items from being moved between groups by users so that it would only happen via automations.
This way an item can only move between groups if all the correct requirements/specific status is met.
Currently, you can only restrict moving items between groups if you’re using a people column to control permissions.
However, we want to allow all users in our org to edit these item’s columns on project boards that track 10s of thousands of “items” WITHOUT manually moving them between groups.
The current work arounds are excessive when we have 100s of boards and 100,000 items to get this right on.
We do not want a people column with everyone in our org assigned to every single item and subitem.
