We are using Workforms to collect submissions, and would like to send an automated WhatsApp message to those who submitted the form telling them we’ll be in touch and other details - using the data they filled in the Phone column.
This message should be sent upon submission from our WhatsApp business account.
We are open to integrating with subscription paid platforms (Twilio, Make, Zapier etc).
Anyone has some experience with this type of scenario? Are you familiar with the best way to do that?
It does sound like our Twilio integration would be a good fit for this! You could use a recipe like the following:
The “when a new item is created” trigger is important because the form will create a new item in the board it is connected to with each form that is submitted. So every time a form is submitted, the details will populate the board as a new item and trigger this automation recipe.
In the bolded “SMS” field, you’ll be able to craft your message and incorporate details from the data they submitted via the form.

I saw this automation, and am unclear if “someone” would include the phone column of the item created?
Also - this automation is for SMS, does this also work with WhatsApp?
