Being able to set up the Task widget once so you don’t have to go in to each project to select which columns are displayed and which ones aren’t.
What are you trying to achieve
I work with a group not very experience with project management software, so I try to keep all the views as simplified and stripped down as possible. I found that I could add the Task widget to the Overview screen so that people could update tasks and the overall information at the same time instead of switching screens. However, when I go into the widget settings to pick which columns to show and which to hide, the settings don’t stick across projects. You have to go into the Task widget on every project to change the columns viewed. I made a video so you can see what I’m talking about but I can’t see where to attach it. If you’ll send me an email, I can send the file to you. Is there a way, or can you add the functionality that when you set the column display settings on the Task widget, they stay the same across projects (as do the Overview settings)?
