Sign Up Process Needs Improvement

I have a lot of guest subscribers to our boards and we are sending invites and getting new guests subscribed on a weekly or sometimes daily basis. More than half of these guests end up with a blank black background with white silhouette for a profile picture and their email address for their name. I haven’t gone through he sign up process myself recently so I can’t say why this happens but seems like something is lacking in terms of prompting the new sign up guest to fill in their display name and upload a profile picture or choose from a generic avatar.
