- Add a simple circle/dot shape as an option. Both the star and heart shapes imply its about “liking” it. A dot does not imply anything and would therefore make using the rating column for purposes not about how much you like a thing more comfortable. For example, you might want to rate the impact, or the likelihood, or the importance of the item - the heart and star shapes don’t feel appropriate for those purposes whereas a dot would.
- Add option for scale of 10. Or provide an option to enable “half” ratings (which effectively turns a 5-scale into a 10-scale, but doesn’t require as much column width as 10-scale would).
Upvoting and reviving this - I’d like to use the Rating column for “Goal impact”, “Effort”, and “Current State”; a dot would make more sense for these as well.
The ability to colour-by-value would be useful as well - eg, 1 => red; 3 => yellow; 5 => green

I would like the rating to be marked 1-3 or 1-5.
As with Hebrew clients, who read RTL and not LTR, it’s not clear from which side the rating starts.
